How Do I Restore A Varnished Oak Table?

My partner managed to spill some white spirit on our oak dining table. It has removed the clear varnish in one large spot. Can someone recommend the best way of restoring the table back to it’s original condition?

    Aside from getting some varnish stripping and stripping the whole thing restaining if needed and revarnishing.
    I am not sure of anyway to just fix the one area
