Got A Samsung Sgh-e900 But For Some Reason The Usb Will Not Work So Cannot Get Music Off The Computer?

Hey, i’m not sure what your phone looks like, but has it got a microSD memory card in it? Can you expand memory on it? Some phones come with that tiny little memory cards, but some don’t. I bought mine really cheap, you just have to get an adapter/card reader to connect the card to your pc (you gotta take the card out from your phone and connect it to the pc). There are two ways to do that – one is to get an adapter that looks like regular sd card (the one you use for you digital camera etc.), and slot it into this port you have on your pc. If you don’t have a port like that on your pc, you can get an adapter that looks like an usb pen, i use that and it works brilliantly. Got some links for you (do you live in UK?)http://www.dvd.co.uk/Hw/Kingston-Flash-m…
thats the micro sd card with an adapterhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Integral-USB-Mem…
and thats the memory card reader i use.
As you see both of those are really cheap (but the postage cost will be a bit pricey, about £5 each), still, saves you a lot of £££. Hope this helps! (just looked up your phone and it does have a microSD slot in it ;)

Ok, now what you do is go into settings on your phone. The categories differ from phone to phone but I believe you’ll go into connections next, then USB settings. Change the USB mode to PC Studio or Mass Storage mode. This will let your computer recognize your phone as a “memory card” instead of phone. Then open My Computer, Click on the item labeled Removable Disk. Your computer will have them also labeled by letter (example: Removable Disk (E:)) So click on the highest letter, so if you have a disks named a, b, c, d, e, f, g. You would choose G, thats your phone. Now you can also right click on it and rename it as MY PHONE so you don’t confuse it with another memory card. So now when you click on the “removable disk” it will show you different folders like Music, My Pictures, My Videos. Click on Music and drag the music you want into that folder! DONE!!

i know this is more expence but get yourself down to tesco’s and buy yourself a bluetooth dongle,
i find that the usb wire to any phone is more hassle than their worth and only work occasionally,
with a bluetooth dongle its quick & easy and no hassle at all
